Trends for Spring and Staying at Home

Posted On April 17, 2020

In this episode of Trends I have decided to take a look at Spring 2020 Trends AND more importantly Staying at Home Trends. (you know why.)

Trends. What is the latest and greatest and how should I be wearing it?  Let’s define what a Trend is and what question we should really be asking.  A Trend is defined as ‘a general direction in which something is developing or changing’;  ‘a fashion’.  A Trend is longer lasting than a Fad (anyone remember the recent bike short Fad? I didn’t think so) A Trend can last years.  An example of such a trend would be skinny jeans. This Trend is just now dying out, after holding tight for nearly a decade.

Now that we have defined Trend let’s address what is the better question to ask. Don’t look at Trends as your score card or your report card which informs you whether you pass the style grade or not. Instead of asking ‘What is the latest Trend?’ ask ‘Which Trends work for me and with me?’  Asking this second question will ensure that you look and feel stylish.

Always ask:

Let’s take a look at some of the latest Trends:
